State Information Commissioner Mrs. Gangotri Kujur visited various offices of Bokaro district on 5th of Dec. 2007. She was surprised to see that most of the offices were running without having a Public Information Officer. There were no signboards regarding the PIOs. She was informed that the PIOs has not been notified till date. According to the RTI Act 2005, PIOs had to be nominated before 12th of Oct 2005.
